# How to join ONBHolders pool?

## **Who can join ONBHolders pool?**

* The ONBHolders Pool is designed exclusively for [ONBPAD tier members](/staking-and-tier-system/tier-system.md). Only users with tier can join this pool.
* Unlike Private Pad VIP pool, Startup Pad's ONBHolders pool is for all tier users and does not have a tier requirement for each deal.

## What is ticket?

* Each tier has different tickets number. The higher tier you are in, the more tickets you can have.&#x20;
* The number of tickets per tier varies for each IDO, depending on the project and fundraising amount.
* More tickets means higher allocation, allowing you to purchase more tokens in the IDO.
* The allocation of tier members is fixed (without Min-Max range) and it will be different based on each project.

## **How to join ONBHolders pool?**

### Before IDO

**Step 1: Buy & stake ONB token to get a tier**

* Buy ONB tokens from UniSwap
* Stake ONB tokens at any [staking pools](/staking-and-tier-system/staking-pools.md) with the minimum amount to get [a tier.](/staking-and-tier-system/tier-system.md)

**Step 2: Check your allocation**

We will snapshot 24-48 hours before the sale starts so make sure you get a tier before this time.

You can check your allocation by clicking on the IDO project you want to join & prepare enough of funds to join the sale.

### Joining pool <a href="#joining-pool" id="joining-pool"></a>

**Step 1: Find the pool**

At the homepage of Startup Pad, find the IDO project is opening and you want to participate.

**Step 2: Checklist before swapping tokens**&#x20;

Before you swap tokens, make sure you go over the following checklists.

* Have enough of the pool’s needed currency (USDC, USDT…) in your wallet to purchase the tokens
* Be prepared for the gas fee (Have BNB, ETH, MATIC, etc. which varies by pools in your wallet for gas fee)

**Step 3: Click on "Swap Now" button**

Click on **"Swap Now"** button to join the sale.

A window will open asking you to confirm transaction in your wallet. Click on **"Confirm"** button.

After a short wait, the **"Swap Now"** button will light off and show the **"Joined"** status. That means you have successfully joined an IDO on Startup Pad.
